Student of the Year 2024
Each year the “Student of the Year” award is presented to a student for overall excellence in the school. Teachers vote for this award and reaching a decision is difficult because of the quality and achievement of the nominees.
In the final vote, the following qualities are considered:
Outstanding achievement in academic subjects
Made a substantial contribution to the school
For excellence in the arts and sciences
Attained a high personal achievement
Consistency in attendance
Demonstration of specific interest and aptitude
Motivation, Creativity and Enthusiasm

In graduating from Coláiste Aindriú, each student has shown their own level of commitment and achievement. Congratulations to all! It is also a tradition for us to recognise and celebrate outstanding student commitment and achievement. These students who have made a significant and consistent contribution to the life of the school.
The Ambassador for the School award is made to the student who has, during their time of study at Coláiste Aindriú, made a significant contribution to school life. The award recognises outstanding achievement over the last six years.
In making the selection, the school will take into account achievement, moral character and qualities of leadership exhibited in the school. Other considerations include:
- Personal/Social/Communication Skills
- Motivation, Creativity, Enthusiasm & Commitment
